  • What time you want to be there.
For our Hearing Impaired Customers, call TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf) at 1-800-344-4358.

We will tell you:
  • Where to catch your bus;

  • What time you should arrive at your destination.
Our Customer Assistance Office answers calls Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Call 442-5663 or 442-5661.

Bus Stops

Please wait next to the bus stop signs on those routes with signs. On those routes without stop signs, the bus will stop at any intersection or the opposite from any street intersecting the route. Please select a place to wait that is safe and has good visibility, and signal the bus driver by flagging. The bus arrives at the same stop at the same time each hour.

How to Identify Your Bus

As the bus approaches, make sure it is the correct bus before you board. Each CUBS bus has a route number and is color-coded (in the right corner of the windshield) along with a destination sign, which is displayed over the windshield.

Boarding the Bus
Remain at the curb until the bus pulls up to the stop. Make sure the bus has come to a complete stop before you board. Let exiting passengers off first. If the bus is crowded, be considerate of others and move to the back of the bus. Seats in the front of the bus are designated for the elderly and disabled and we ask that you be mindful of their needs.

Exiting the Bus
When you are within one block of your stop, signal the operator by pushing on the yellow bell tape or pulling the cord located above the windows. Stand behind the yellow line in the front of the bus until the bus has come to a complete stop. When stepping down from the bus, please watch your step. Also, please be mindful that, unlike school buses, traffic is not required to stop when the buses are loading or unloading passengers
